Our pieces refer to the reality by confrontation, by contact – contiguity and continuity – and relation more than by representation. They result from collisions and the apprehension of a place from its physical, geological, historical and cultural features. We are equally interested in scientific explanations, cutting edge technology and popular imageries (mythology and popular beliefs) ; by monuments which make History and the sound of the present time which defy immediate understanding.

Our researches revolve around the notions of limits and frontier, strength and entrenchment – and therefore on what could define a body, an entity. We are especially interested in measuring the strength and constant effort necessary for something, some space, to remain still, to maintain its cohesion.
